Welcome to IT 3203
This course is divided up into several units. Each unit includes reading assignments, slides with a recorded lecture, and sometimes external links. Some units include quizzes.
- The syllabus and calendar will give you all dates when assignments, exams, labs, and quizzes are due
- You are expected to log into D2L at least a couple of times each week, read the content, read the links, and complete any work that is listed on the calendar
- Please remember that when an assignment is due, you need to get it in. Late work is not accepted, and you'll earn a zero.
- You will be introducing yourself to your classmates, and they to you, as part of Assignment Zero
- Please always contact the instructor if you have any questions at any time - we want you to succeed in this course
Getting Started
- Read the syllabus... yes, all of it. Consider printing the first page, which has the schedule for the term.
- Read the remaining material in the Students Start Here module.
- Check the Calendar tool and make note of those things that are due in the next ten days. Consider adding these dates to your personal calendar, and doing so every week.
- Complete Assignment Zero by the due date. In general, you should plan on completing assignments about a day before they're due because many of them will take longer than you first expect.
